MKA Design Consultants is looking for an ambitious AutoCAD Drafter with experience in precast concrete detailing for the role of Senior Precast Detailer.
Job Duties:
- Generation of precast concrete production drawings, erection drawings, and connection details in AutoCAD
- Adherence to schedules and management of deadlines
- Adherence to and training of multiple sets of standards
- Review and checking of drawings for accuracy and quality
- Coordination with fellow detailers and checkers
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 8-10 years professional 2D and 3D CAD precast concrete drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Bluebeam
- Efficiency and accuracy
- Knowledge of drafting standards
- Effective communication skills
- Familiarity with Revit is also desired

Job Duties:
- Reviews Precast shop drawings and erection plans for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specification and industry standards
- Identifies and corrects detailing errors, dimensional conflicts, and coordination issues prior to release for fabrication an construction.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 8-12 years professional 2D and 3D CAD drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Bluebeam
- Strong arithmetic skills and a solid understanding of basic geometry
- Efficiency and accuracy
- Keen eye for detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
